Books | Hindu myths

I love story telling and symbolism. I love the playfulness and universality of myths. Each time I tell or read a story again, it resonates with me on another level.

Below are two of my favourite books about Hindu mythology and the stories behind the asanas.
The book of Devdutt Pattanaik also provides an understanding of how the different Gods and Goddesses are related to each other. These Gods and Goddesses represent different aspects of the divine or of ourselves - depending on how you relate to these myths.

The stories offer a fresh perspective on our own life situations and they often make us laugh too!
